Many people say that college is a journey to discover oneself right? Now, why would this journey to be yourself be the riskiest among all others? What risks might lay ahead in ones college career regarding the path to becoming “yourself”. (discovering who you really are)

Okay I have a friend who makes the most stupidest choices/decsions she smokes weed, cigarettes, has done exctesie (<--- however you spell it), she claim she's done pot (which I think she's lying about) but my friend told me today that she told her that she does speed,cocaine, and all this random stuff and that just plain awful that's not something you should be doing especially at a young age she's 15 and she's seeing a guy who's 19 and lied to him told him she was about to turn 17, she told me before that she wanted to quit smoking and doing drugs and said she's been clean for 5 weeks but she LIED to me she's been getting high behind my back (she came to school high one day) making me look like a fool defending her when people wanna say all sorts of shit about her, she admitted to me that she was high and that it was just a "relapse" but after that she still continued to smoke and do drugs, which really pissed me off about a month before she said she was gonna quit smoking when the next day i go across the street i see her with a cigarette in her hand i just thought to my self "wow" and I knew was lying too she keeps crying to me say "oh im sorry" when she's not I understand when going through something like this you'll need a friends but I tried being her friend and she just kept spitting back into my face (not literally) and wants to blame other people for it I know it's her choice and her life but honestly Im not gonna put myself around some who does that, like really lying to the people who care about you the most and except us to comfort you? umm no I'm tired of being your damn mom your gonna half to learn things the hard way, she doesn't realize the choices you make now will affect her later on, and I've told her this but she doesnt get it how do i get her to stop talking to me?? no rude comments Best answer:

“Listen, lately you’ve been acting really ridiculous, you lie about everything & do some crazy things & I just can’t handle being your friend. Sorry, but I don’t think we should hang out anymore.” there’s a saying that says “Tell me who your with, & I’ll tell you who you are” don’t be hanging around with people like that.
