Question by Kat C: Is it wrong to ask my long distance fiance to stop masturbating?
I feel that masturbation is basically an addiction. I’ll admit I do it once in a blue moon. maybe once every two months and I do get the occasional sexy thought but I don’t run into my room and go wild. I believe that men do not need to masturbate. I’ve done my research and basically the only thing you can argue with this is prostate health. But I’m sure eating healthy and the occasional wet dream is fine enough. So again as a man do you think it’s wrong for me to request he stop doing this? I really see no point in him doing it without me present. Also have any other men out there abstained from it for long periods of time? ( little fact, no I am not religious. I’m not basing these thoughts on anything religious just my own stance on the subject.)

And no, I’m not jealous. That’s silly and short sighted on your side. I just don’t like the person I’m with to lack self control and especially have such an addiction as this.
Also it’s not a human need, it’s a want. I can abstain from it perfectly fine. So no, not a need an addiction more like.

Psyche major? Than you will clearly see I have control issues LOL And of course if he doesn’t want that sort of person in his life than he would of left. But he hasn’t and is very accommodating to my “needs” as you like to say. You’ll notice it takes two to make a relationship. So my requests are just as valid as his.
Well I’ll rephrase. I want him to nearly stop like me. I rarely do it. And I feel he should too. You should really learn to stop reading things in black and white.
Also Conner I’d love to hear you opinion on Asexual people and their lack of sexuality. Apparently it isn’t a human need. Because not every human needs it.
Forked Tongue, what you say makes a lot of sense. And we will be moving in with each other soon, Thankfully! My main issue is frequent masturbation turning into an addiction. I love people who have a strong sense of self control and would like my significant other to consider my request. I’m seeing a lot of negativity coming from people about this and it’s silly. I guess some people aren’t able to express themselves in such a way as you have. Thank you.

Dippy, I have no punishments as you seem to assume. Apparently every single human on this earth is the same. It’s a request, almost an experiment. No punishments necessary. I really don’t like all this negativity coming from certain people. I don’t get why you can’t simple express yourself in a better manner.
