Those laws vary from state to state, and even county to county. Certain ones vary by gender, or even sexual orientation depending on how connected your regions child exploitation laws are to the child abuse ones. I recommend reading your state code. I also recommend not putting off legal dissertations this late.

This family of drugs accounts for five out of the 10 categories in the government’s list of most abused drugs in the United States. Between 10% and 15% of all Americans are taking them. Part of the reason that so many people are abusing benzodiazepines is that they account for about 33% of all prescription drugs. They are classified as Schedule IV substances, which means the government considers them more habit-forming than addictive.

Why is it that it is said that all people who use “substances” have some sort of other issues, or that they use them to escape whatever their problems are ? Cant some people just use them occasionally because they like how they make them feel?? Just a thought.

Not all substance users have severe emotional/mental issues. In fact, many people who do choose to use a substance don’t become addicted and develop problematic tendencies. People do refer to this though because a large population of drug users get high for the sole reason of escaping reality, depression, physical pain or other underlying mental conditions.
