Severe Pain After Chiropractic Treatment. What Should I Do?

Question by tyler: Severe pain after chiropractic treatment. What should I do?
It’s been 2 weeks since I had a series of adjustments from a chiropractor. I have major pain in the neck and back. It is bad enough that I have difficulty moving around and it hurts even when I’m lying down. At night the pain keeps me up or wakes me up around 4 am. I drink scotch to try to lessen the pain and it helps somewhat.

Obviously I won’t go back to this “doctor” but is there anything I can do to take away the pain or speed up healing? Also, how long does pain last after a chiropractor screws you up? It’s been 2 freaking weeks already. I’m finding that the moment one painful area starts to get better, another part of my body starts hurting.

Remember than chiropractors do not need a PhD for this profession, they are not doctors at all, actually. Your best bet is to see a real doctor for your pain, maybe get some good medicine and if he finds something wrong, you can sew your chiropractor.

Sadly you have found out the hard way, what most people already know, chiropractic isn’t all that it’s “cracked” up to be. Quackapractors never inform a patient about what can,and often does happen after their silly cracking sessions. Here is probably what is going on with you…http://www.rebuildyourback.com/chiropractic/ligaments.php Hopefully in time you will start to feel better.I can’t think of any way to speed up your recovery. I see people all the time that have been screwed up by chiropractic “adjustments” Why do people actually think that getting cracked is good for you? It’s just getting cracked for God’s sake, nothing more than cracking your knuckles!
