It depends on what you’re considering “abuse”. I would say regular usage counts as abuse, while simply trying something once or twice does not. The majority of teenagers will experiment with drugs and alcohol at some point, but only a small percentage will become regular users. Alcohol abuse is more common than drugs because alcohol is easier to access. However, the sale of drugs in school is pretty prevalent and drugs are by no means difficult for teens to obtain. Males are more likely to use drugs or drink alcohol than females.

Who Is the Catholic Priest That Is in All the Alcoholics Anonymous Videos, and Books?
Question by ghost: Who is the Catholic Priest that is in all the Alcoholics Anonymous videos, and books?
I was made to watch the same Catholic Priest in rehab, and out patient classes for months. He has been dead for 10-15 years but he is in a lot of video’s, warning about the dangers of alcohol abuse. He tends to crack jokes every so often. Some of the jokes are good, some aren’t.
Oh, and if you know who he is could you give me a little history on him?
Thanks

What’s Your Definition of “abuse”?
Question by My Answers Suck: What’s your definition of “abuse”?
I hang out in celebrity section and notice a lot of people commenting on Chris Brown hitting Rihanna saying he abused her. To me, “abuse” means a habitual occurrence. For this argument we won’t get into whether or not he has done so in the past. So if he hits her on this one occasion — even if going overboard — does that constitute as “physical abuse”?
I was thinking if someone who has never had alcohol gets absolutely plastered one time, they are not considered as alcohol abusers. That term usually conjures up an addicted alcoholic. Same for drugs.
