I just asked if you’d vote for me, and several people said “no”. I agree that those (elderly) with physical problems need help but not fully functioning 25 year old males with no families. If we have “help” available people will accept it without thinking of the greater good… didn’t you just hear about those 9 people that cost Texas 3 million dollars!!
Liberals always talk about “personal freedom” but what about the personal freedom to not support laziness, corruption, welfare, etc. Are those not our choices?

I think there is always work, some people are disabled or have to take care of children…other people abuse the system.
Out of the few people I have ever known to be on well fare 1 was freudulant.
She had like 5 kids, a job and a boyfriend who was making good money…but she stayed on well fare because of all the money she got for the kids.
I think everyone should have to be reviewed when they sign up, and then every 3 months or so after that.

Why are you opposed to taking personal responsibility for yourself by asking accurate and educated questions instead of simply knee-jerking opinions. I think this is laziness on your part. YOu don’t really know the deals with those people, Some of them have serious medical issues and need medical care but perhaps they cannot work and certainly cannot get insurance.
I am not opposed to taking personal responsibility, I think people should. Are you suggesting however that since SOME of these people seem to lack the ability to do that we should execute them or just let them die of their health issues without even emergency care?
For example, the 9 people who keep going to the emergency room some are obviously unable to find a better alternative on their own, perhaps due to mental health issues, or chronic substance abuse or acoholism. Why shouldn’t we spend maybe a fifth as much by getting them into housing and treatment programs, and have them getting regular care instead of emergency care?
